Second day of school. It was a beautiful hot day, all the greenery was majestic, flowers were blooming, the birds were singing and the traffic... was terrible! Cars sharing the streets with mustard yellow school buses after a long summer break. But there was a calm on the air, as if everything was where it was supposed to be: new scholars excited about backpacks, notebooks and riding on the bus for the first time; old students anxious to meet their friends and know who's the new math teacher; parents smiling everywhere, wanting to scream "I made it through the summer!" and now school is back. Little sisters and brothers looking at their older siblings with sparkling eyes and a wowed face: "one day it's going to be me!" Routine again, normal life begins. So we think. Good luck to us all!
